All of my soaps contain goat milk and shea butter.
My soaping journey began almost 20 years ago--and as life twisted and turned, other tasks came to the forefront. After 10 years we finally ran out of my soap, and my husband asked if I could make some more. Oh, sure! Oh, no! The original recipe was lost to the sands of time. I would have to start from scratch, which was actually a good thing.
I knew what properties I wanted--a moisturizing bar (because I don't like using lotion), creamy lather (because I want soaping up to be a sensual, feel-good event), and a hard bar (because I wanted it to last).
I spent 2 years experimenting with the recipe, until I was happy with it.
Designing perfection is a slow process.
The final product is a moisturizing, long-lasting bar, that turns showering into a enjoyable experience.
I still surprise myself when I rub my arm or hands, and my skin is so soft--then I remember that I made that!
